... Due to an accident at 4:45pm. Luckily the have 5 hrs to my flight, but a lot of pax on the Skybus are going to miss theirs.

Was very quick once past the accident (abt half way along the toll section). Total trip 'only' 70 mins. Surprised at the number of people around me who boarded a 4:45 Skybus with a 6pm flight.

That works at 4:45am for a 6am flight. Would never risk it in the evening.

I leave Port Melbourne at 4pm for a 6pm flight.

Skybus normally takes around 30 minutes? Probably cutting it a bit fine.

I use train, bus and bus to get to BNE airport on Friday afternoons and need to leave ~2 hours before flight. Usually takes ~1 hour but any sort of delays eat that time up quickly and leave me stressed.

All depends on route and type of ticket. If it's MEL-SYD on a ticket that's same day flexible, and HLO with OLCI, then perhaps not so much of a problem on a Monday evening ... if it's that JQ flight to LST .... well maybe not so good.

Crawled into the city this morning and it was an hour to the airport tonight. Thankfully I had planned to get to the airport early to resolve a seat allocation - but even then only have about 20 mins to spare.
