As some of you may be aware samh004 has been wearing two AFF hats: as a moderator and helping me manage AFF in his role as support. He has done an excellent job in both roles.
In particular, he played a key role in the migration to Xenforo back in September. Many of you will recall how quickly he addressed the inevitable issues which cropped up immediately after the migration. Behind the scenes his commitment and dedication was just as important in making the migration - and ongoing operation of Xenforo - such a success.
Sam will now be taking on additional support responsibilities in an expanded support role. To free up his time for this important role, Sam will be stepping down as a moderator from 1 December. He will obviously still be very involved in AFF as both a regular member (samh004) and as support. So you’ll certainly be seeing his ongoing presence on AFF! Thanks Sam for doing such a great job as a moderator for over two and a half year (and prior to that as our Social Ambassador).
So we now have a vacancy for a new moderator. If you wish to throw your hat in the ring and join our moderation team, please send me a private message to express your interest. The (existing) mod team and I plan to make a final decision in the next couple of weeks.
