Hi Guys, Just wondering if this is possible to do, i'm keen to fly to HK from Sydney as followss:

SYD- HKG in Y and then HKG - SYD in Y+ on the way home.

Can't seem to get that sort of option on the Qantas site, can you organised that by calling up and booking over the phone?

Short answer is no, it needs to be booked as two single trips.

It may be worth a call to the Premium Desk to confirm your options.

Some Economy and Premium Economy fares can be combined, and therefore booked in one itinerary by our Reservations team.

Depending on when you're travelling, this may be cheaper than booking a one-way from HKG. Alternatively, you may be able to make an Award booking for either the outbound or inbound on QF or partner carriers.

Just a thought... :)

cool thanks for the suggestions, will give the desk a call and see how it works out

turns out the premium desk was able to help to roughly get me what I was looking for in the end, not quite the same rates as the website but close

Thanks for reporting back it can be done, pity there is no self serve option!

no worries, there were a few fees, I didn't end up making the booking myself someone else did but was a bit cheaper than 2 individual one ways that is for sure. I just didn't want to commit to another longer haul overnight flight after flying back from London in Y last week

Thanks for the update. Glad the Premium Desk could assist with this, and you're happy with the outcome. :)
