::sigh:: what a bad time for Flyertalk to be down :(

Has anyone had success with getting missing miles credited without a boarding pass? Specifically I am talking about the AirNZ airpoints program. My family and I travelled to the US last year and I had all the documents saved (boarding passes for trip over, tickets, etc) except for the darn return boarding passes. Sure enough our points didn't post and now AirNZ will only credit us with half the points because I can't find the return boarding passes. I am running out of time to do something about this as our 6 month 'window' is almost up.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

do you still have your passenger ticket copy
That should do it i think ,

I'm not sure about Airnz, but qantas will take teh ticket or the boarding passes

EDIT: Ring them up also
i think they might be helpfull

Yes, I sent them the tickets along with the boarding passes I had but they still refused to credit us for the return flight. I think I will give them a call. Thanks for your reply. I am usually fanatical about saving everything but this was an after midnight flight out of HNL with two kids under 6 (can we say sleep deprived??).

supergirl, another FT-refugee I see until tomorrow night (hopefully)...

Yes, sleep deprived would be an excellent description for you after a flight like that!

Whilst I've never mislaid a BP, I've always wondered whether I could access my PNR to see if they show the seat allocation etc.

I have a similar situation with friends that just took some *A flights and he forgot to save first 2 sectors SYD/HNL/YVR, so I wonder how United will treat them....

It's pretty p*ss weak how airlines can try and rip you off for points when it is usually their incompetence that the points didn't register. This used to happen a bit with QF back in the mid 90s but now I find that they always show up. When you join a new alliance to pick up the points for another airline it usually goes pear shaped.
(Hey Lindsay one more post for your triple century!)

It's a wonder some time - the airlines espouse state-of-the-art technology that can't transfer the points within a reasonable time frame.

rormad, yes the triple century is under my belt - onto 400!!

I've been watching this thread with some interest only to discover that I've been ripped off of points/SC's for a LAX-MEL flight I took a couple of months ago.
Now the most annoying part of all this is that I rang and was told the change would be on the board within 15 minutes and now 1 week later it still shows 0/0.
I reckon the FF site has a bug because the LAX-MEL flight was a SC upgrade to F from J and having just two days ago used points to upgrade on a DOM flight I see that Qantas has again done the same thing. That is - they did the points deduction for the upgrade but omitted the points/sc I would have earned on the regular H travel.

I'll try another phonecall to see how I fare.
