Missing Double Status Credits from Travel Pass

Update:

TP DSC posted just this afternoon - 4 weeks to the day post travel (I do not know if this is significant in any way). I had not bothered to contact QFF as I wasn't too worried, but it was a nice surprise none the less to see them show up as promised.

So perhaps QF did a batch run of processing or something (I'd note the entry was for the total SC's for all flights in the eligible booking rather than separate line items for each flight).

so, the system works.. slowly perhaps.. but it works :)
Mine was a month, too. A detail I didn’t add to my post above is that I took 2 DSC TP flights ( different PNRs) about a week apart and the DCSs posted consecutively, same day. So batch processing appears to be the go.

This does support that a batch run was made on the 2nd to catch all of the TP DSC for the previous period.

A bit odd for me - 2 x PNRs both on the DSC Promo.

Flights 1 & 4 on one and Flights 2 & 3 another.

DSCs posted 48 hours after Flights 3 & 4 ( different PNRs ) but not the other flights.

It's now been 3 weeks .......... weird!

Were they booked with a travel pass with DSC (which this thread is about) or bookings made during a DSC promo (which I suspect is the case)? Either way you'd need to follow up with QFF, though likely get the standard 6-8 week answer on the missing sectors.

Yes mate, bookings made through DSC promo. I got a bit hopeful when half ( albeit second half ) of the SCs turned up so quick but nek minnit

I had DSC for 3 December Segments post yesterday, dated 2nd Feb. Today would have been 6 weeks since latter two and I had planned calling.

Interesting two segments in the one day posted as a single transaction.

Nothing posted yet for a flight a week ago.

yes, this was my experience (as above)

So I wonder.

Was that flight closing out the booking made with TP or is the PNR still open? That may account for it

or that the big run made on the 2nd covered a specific period not fully up to the 2nd of Feb.

I can see the way it probably works is running over a set of data covering a period and including bookings made with an eligible TP - bookings that are completed and flights credited (the reason I say this is the combined posting of total credits for flights within a booking as above and it might make some sense to hold off crediting of DSC on flight(s) in a partially completed booking).

It is probably a pretty large dataset to comb over depending on how they track PNRs with a TP as part or full payment method and THEN the subset of TP's that were issued with DSC or DP offers so it could well be that the batch was run for a set period with a time lapse to allow for completed trips and original flight credits to show.

No, Just a single segment booking. One and done!

The two segments that posted as one were the same PNR.
well that implies that there was a cut off date in the bookings processed on 2 Feb that I guess was before when you traveled. That would be a bit annoying.

Hopefully they run it on a more regular basis from now on and yours gets fixed in the next one.

Last year I elected to take two travel passes with the DSC offer attached. I've now used both to book a couple of international flights for September/October this year (praying to the Covid gods that these won't be cancelled).

Is there a way of confirming that these travel passes actually do have the DSCs attached to them, prior to taking the flights I mean, which in my case is still more than six months out? I'm a bit concerned now that the bonus status credits won't come through, as I'll be needing them to requalify for Platinum (and inching towards Lifetime Gold).

An additional wrinkle: one of the travel passes was used for a trip some months back which was also cancelled, and so was then reissued. I've assumed that the DSC offer is still attached to this re-issued pass.

I suppose you could have no fun calling QF to verify but honestly if you keep the email saying you've elected for TP with DSC that you should have gotten at the time then that is all you need to prove it should they not (eventually) shown up.

there's no markers in bookings or online that I am aware of that show it - just like with any other DSC promo. QF should be able to tell of course but that will mean a lengthy wait time probably.

having just had DSC post (even if it took awhile) I think there's probably no need to worry too much about it.

Points and status credits finally posted today from a flight on Boxing Day booked using Travel Pass but missing double status credits...

Has anyone that accepted double status credits as part of of a Travel Pass credit instead of a refund been given the DSC’s after taking a flight?
If so, can you say how long it taken to be credited.

Thanks.

Yes, and per above it seems QF are running at least a monthly batch run to capture the TP earned DSC. It would be nice if more often, but they have come through as expected.

"at least a monthly batch run"? Not in my experience.

On the 2nd February, I received 2 x SC for flights taken on 1st and 22nd December.

I am still waiting for 2 x SC for travel on 27th January.

Looking to burn one of these DSC TPs on an upcoming booking. If I understand correctly, even though the booking will include flights from other operators the QF-operated flights should all be DSC (although likely delayed in when they get posted to my account).
