Missing Accor meal points

Been an Accor member for years and only just realised as of late they are not adding my dining points on when I dine. Has this happened to anyone else recently? Gone back through my last 12 month point summary and noticed none have been added for dining at their chosen Accor restaurants. I got an email and said I can get backdated points for 6months only with proof of receipts. Also mentioned I need to pay with a credit card connected to the App or it won’t register. Then got second email saying you only have to present your card and ask for the points to be added. I’d love to know anyone else’s experience in this. Not very happy on missing out on god knows how many points over the years.

That’s interesting.... I was dining at the hotel restaurant recently where I was staying and showed my Accor Plus card for the discount. When I asked to charge it back to the room, the cashier said they can only apply the discount if I pay at the counter, so I did. Later I realized I didn’t get any points, since there was no machine at the counter to register the card. Not a big deal as it wasn’t a huge amount, but your post reminded me of it.

Can’t say I’ve had many issues but I always get it charged to the room or in places where the restaurant is operated seperately I ensure they enter my Accor membership number

I've had them sometimes, not other times.
Sometimes I have got them, and then an email thanking me for my stay, and a survey. And I haven't even stayed!

Yep I had to call this restaurant in particular as we dine there all the time and they put a request in for points to be added but only after I chased them up. Points equals money! Every bit helps.
