Overall, it is better value for me to get A$10 off my shop at Woolworths for every 2000 WWR points credited than it is to receive 870 QF FF points. I like Woolworths better than Coles or especially Aldi. IGA can also be good as it has a different range to the two majors.
I would agree with you if WWR allows points earn on mobile phone recharges, but they don't have that, also no points earn at Big W, so for me, Coles wins.
Also once a person gains 2,000 FB points, they go pretty fast to VFF, unlike WWR & QF, where it takes a whole month.e
EDIT: just got an offer of triple points at Big W for WWR, WWR now accepted at BigW (again, as it was in the days of EDR).

Amazing negativity against Woolies.
First off, my prepaid phone recharges purchased at woolies have always earned points.
As do any number of non-woolies gift cards - something that does not happen with flybuys.

My main point. I feel sorry for all those getting nothing out of woolies. Since everyday rewards underwent the change, I've got heaps of great value. Not sure how long it's been 18 months? But I'm up to $680 in woolies discounts so far. I have more offers than I can shake a stick at. Recent highlights include 2000 bonus points for spending $80, 2100 bonus points for dishwasher tablets, auto $10 discount, 400 points for bum paper.

A big highlight was recently having to buy an extra itunes card (@15% discount) to get enough spend after the pending $30 discount, to earn another $30 discount.

I love woolies, they show me the money. Don't do the Qantas transfer. Sometime I think of the 60000 qantas points I could have had, but then remember the money.

This is my first, so its a shock that they do it quarterly.
Ta again.
For Vic, I a while back bought a Telstra prepaid recharge, the WWR points tally was down by 50 points, and guess its the prepaid recharge that didn't earn me WWR.
Lucky you got it.

I do not know why it would be a shock, as it's pretty clear when you select the option IMHO :)

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Just thought I would give you all a bit of an update. Yes they are still dragging it out.
My initial enquiry was met with a reply that my points were credited after the expiry date for the promotion, which I then explained to them that was totally logical as their date (6am on June 14th) was a day prior to the day that Woolies would move points across to Qantas, therefore The points should be credited.

I was informed that I would have to contact Woolies and get proof that the transactions took place prior to 6am on the 14th. The reasoning behind this is that the 500 point transaction isn't handled by QFF it is handled by Woolies.

Meantime I have sent an email to Woolies requesting these records. I then received a reply from Woolies with a form attached that I would have to fill out and forward to them with appropriate ID attached before they could release these details.

I also decided to send off a complaint to QFF telling them about the problem and asking them to just answer one simple question which was.
"Why would you run a promotion with an end date of June 14th when you know full well that points won't be credited until at least the 15th which I guess means that nobody qualifies."

The answer to the question was
"Please request a confirmation from Woolworths Rewards that 2,000 points were reached prior to 6 am on June 14th."

I then pointed out that I only asked one question which was what I stated above and that had not bothered to reply to this.

I was then informed
"To have your 500 bonus points claim processed, you'll need to contact Woolworths directly as these transactions aren’t handled by the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre."

To which I replied that they still have not answered my question and that I would have thought that this actually has nothing to do with Woolies as the promotion was actually run by Qantas.

The reply is below but once again no answer to my question.

"We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. To assess your claim for your 500 Qantas Bonus points, please send us the screenshot of the promo and confirmation of the date and time you selected Woolworths Rewards Convert to Qantas Points.

Once we have the documents, we'll process and credit the points once transaction is eligible."

So according to this it would appear they now acknowledge that it is a Qantas promo and not a Woolies promo. I also think I can see where this is heading as they asked when I selected to convert to Qantas points, which was way back when the scheme began. So I provided the screenshot they asked for pointing out that surely they would keep details of promotions that they send out and told them to check my QFF account to see how long it has been linked to Woolies. I have had no reply now for two days so I reckon when it comes it is going to be a little beaut.

Re the line about when I joined Woolworths Rewards, I get the feeling that they are going to refer to the section below. would love to hear opinions on this wording.

The thing that gives me a good laugh with all this, is that they are squabbling over about $7.50 worth of points. It has cost them more than this in time so far. Once I get this one out of the way the next one is for points from a restaurant booking, bit more fun to be had.

Important information
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions.

This bit here, but it doesn't say it is for this promotion, it says all have to be done prior to 6am 14th June

* To get 500 bonus Qantas Points with Woolworths, you must be a member of Woolworths Rewards, link your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to your Woolworths Rewards account, opt-in to convert your Woolworths Dollars to Qantas Points and earn your next 2,000 Woolworths Points by 6:00am (AEST) 14 June 2017.

Every 2,000 Woolworths Points earned will be converted to 10 Woolworths Dollars which will then be converted to 870 Qantas Points. The next conversion by Woolworths will occur on 15 June 2017, to be part of this conversion, you need to select Qantas Points as your reward option by 6am (AEST) 14 June 2017. Please allow up to seven days from Woolworths' conversion date for Qantas Points to appear in your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. Selected Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets excludes all Tasmania locations and Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets with a Star Mart or Star Shop. Woolworths Rewards is not available in Tasmania.

Mrs. Lime and I hace separate Woolies account, she uses one then drops off it for couple weeks then a decent offer arrives on the one not being used, then swaps, we shop at Woolies anyway, been receiving around 8000 QFF point a quarter once converted.

That's good, I should look into that.

TO the OP. could you download the transaction list from woolworths as proof

I check every receipt. have never been short. But i buy optus recharges.

the whole point (pun intended) of Status Credits were for people who actually damn well put their bum on a plane seat.. now you can get them from signing up for a CC or shopping at coles?

They don't count towards WP1 though, and we all know WP1 is all QF cares about these days.

Even that is debateable !!!

Seriously as with everything it all comes down to money. QF Loyalty is a massive profit centre for QF and they obviously feel that they can earn more by selling SC's to ANZ etc to use as inducements for customers to sign with them. And sure 75 SC is nothing much in the grand scheme of things when you're climing the ladder,. I get ALL of that.

I am just boringly old school and find it hard to let go of the notion that status should be earned by miles in the seat. It's the new world now though :)

and revenue based.

But quasi status has been able to be purchased for years with the qantas club. Ok, it's not top tier, but brings many of the advantages of gold for travel on QF.

If anyone hasn't received previous bonus points I'd just hang out for the current promo - 10K points (2K for changing your selection and 8K for the first transfer).

Screenshot everything and send it in at the end of the promo.
Not everyone was offered 10,000 points. My couple of offers were half that amount.

Slap in the face really when you see other offers. Don't quite understand why marketing sends out these tiered offers instead of one general offer beneficial to all.
