Has anyone had the problem of miles crediting to the wrong FF account - even when the correct FF number is on a boarding pass?

Just recently, it seems to be happening quite often. I've had a few flights credit to my QF account when my AA number was on my boarding pass.

Very annoying!

I have had this happen before - sometimes due to my own complexity and others due to overly helpful staff.

What you can do is contact QF to get the points reversed - that seems to be straightforward. Then once QF have reversed them contact AA to get the points reinstated - this might take a couple of calls depending on who the supplying airline might be.

If AA really dig their heels in (or you cant be bothered chasing after the first few attempts) then QF will reinstate them.

I've had this too. One email to QFF and within a few days the points were removed from Qantas (and the SC too :() and then automatically credited to AA a few days after that.

In your email point out that you have a boarding pass with your AA number on it. That clearly indicates your intent.
