I assume all of these 747s running cargo flights into Australia over the last week or two are due to tighter availability on the reduced ME3 schedule?

Seems to be a lot of 747s on cargo runs compared to normal.

The lack of middle east traffic has not really had an effect on cargo, certainly there is no real increase in traffic, non of the middle eastern cities feature in the top 10 for freight

Just wondering.
Does anyone know how far forward am I able to rebook a rewards flight with QR?
Flight booked with velocity points.
12 months ok?

I pulled the pin on my Emirates flights, I would be traveling in exactly 2 weeks and I guess its just easier knowing I have confirmed flights on Cathay that have been operating.

Looks like a two week period for some to get flights moving.

Oil has crashed went into the 80s briefly before.

Missiles are still being fired by Iran - a lot of the IRG cells operate autonomously so there’s going to have to be a leap of faith for airlines to resume flights - at least in the early days.

Actually I think it will stick. There is no reason for Trump to make any further intrusions.

Yes. Different issues there completely.
As unhinged as Trump is, he's not the one I'm worried about, it's the other two trouble makers that worry me more.

IMHO I still wouldn't risk flying through the ME over next two weeks. Cancellations will be very probable.

EY cutting back. My FCO-SYD (via AUH) flight late May has been cancelled and rebooked 2 days later.

Well I have still a F redemption pending HND-DXB-AMS on May 31. As a lowly bronze member it will be my one and only chance. Last I checked both legs were operating. The Faustian decision of to cancel or not

EK have rolled the free cancellations out to flights booked up to 31 May.

We're keeping ours for a bit longer to see what happens. Plan B via SIN could go belly up for another reason. Who knows!
