Hi everyone,
I will be flying from Melbourne to KL on MH148, J class, in a month's time.
Out of curiosity, does the MH crew force passengers to close the window covers
during a daytime flight? Personally i prefer them to be up, but if not, then i will just have
to suck it up.

And the QF International Business lounge in Tullamarine is better than the Marhaba Lounge isn't it ?
(I asked since i have always used the SQ lounge in Tullamarine. First time flying a Oneworld airline on J class out of Tullamarine)

Drawing down of the shades not enforced on a recent MH day-time flight. Admittedly it was not the flight in OP's post, but a MH flight. Experience tells me that most people might draw down the shades, if they like to nap or if the light glares off the IFE screen making it difficult to enjoy the varied entertainment options that MH offers.

Thanks for replying :) As long as i am allowed to leave the shades open, i am happy :)
