MH1 severe turbulence

In Australia people rush to stand up but still nearly always then stop and wait until everyone in rows in front of them has left. Maybe it is about taking back control of our own lives after the tight controls enforced during air travel.

I always feel pressure, if in an aisle seat, to stand and get my stuff organised ASAP so as not to delay other people.

Australia is not special in this regard ........ We are cultured in respect to some of the countries I have been too!

As far as getting up as soon as the seat bel signs go off, it's horses for courses.

If one or more of my carryon's is in an OHSB behid me and I am in an aisle seat then I may want tto zip back and grab it before it comes to for my row to disembark.

Otherwise I generally stay seated unto I see PAX forward of me start disembarking.

I think most people are keen to get off the aircraft and go about their business.

The people that worry me are the ones with carry on everywhere and make no effort to disembark quickly.
