I was doing a little research for my upcoming MH business class trip HKT-KUL-SYD when I found this excellent and relevant article. Perhaps there are others who who have not seen it and who may be interested:

In-Flight Review: Malaysia Airlines Business Class coughet - Kuala Lumpur - Singapore — ORD TO ANYWHERE

Excellent article.

I fly MEL-KUL-HKT return a few times a year in Business Class. I have always experienced excellent service both at check-in and on the aircraft.

The concierge service at KUL and HKT is great. Express everything. Makes the airport experience seem effortless.

A caveat is the MH website, it definitely needs an overhaul.

Agree with what's already been said, and do a lot of SE Asia routes on MH J. Fantastic service, although I think a few things need a bit of an update such as their systems, and I still believe their lounges are poor, especially in KUL, although when you compare their lounge to what's available in the rest of the terminal, it's pretty nice lol.

I have always found the service standards on MH J to be very good. Their IT departemnt is the worst though and that is something that really needs to be fixed. I quite like the F lounge in KUL. It's the soft product in there that needs to improve significantly. Really, having a cheap champagne and only have 1 'red' and 1 'white' wine is simply not good enough. And the menu also needs to be improved.

I find the CX lounge more tranquil and refined if you do not have access to the MH Flounge :) The CX lounge has a better selection of spirits than the MH JCL, but the MH JCL has real champers (Cattier NV Brut) that the CX lounge doesn't.
