Hi everyone,
I will be flying in J class with MH to KL on Friday.
( In the A330 Neo)
I am planning to carry a small backpack and carry on suitcase into the cabin. Would there be enough space in the overhead storage for both of them? I assume the overhead storage will be filled up quickly. But just like to hear from people who have flown recently.

( See attached pic for the suitcase and backpack as a reference )

Thank you.

No, the overhead luggage space won’t be filled up quickly on an a330. Each passenger pretty much has a whole bin to themselves… which is several windows long.

The overhead storage looks massive!
Which introduces the next question which would b:, whether we can do all our luggage as carry on and not check in any luggage.
Officially MH says J class = 2 x7kg carry ons.
But they have never weighed my carryons at a MH J checkin or indeed any J checkin and Ive carried more than 2 on many occasions, (though they did meticulously measured the Ski bags and charged me an over-dimension fee:D)
