Question for the brains trust is how many J awards does MH release to QFF for their intra-Asia flights?
I'm looking to travel TPE>HKG>KUL in a couple of months (mid Sept) and am interested in trying MH J-class on the HKG>KUL leg. Have never flown with them and it's always fun to try something new
Especially when coupled with CX's lounges in HKG.
I'm seeing plenty of availability for 1-pax across a range of dates (and in both directions) from the next couple of days all the way through to 350+ days.
But my partner's travelling with me and as soon as I search for 2-pax through the QF site all I get is CX-only options.
The obvious assumption to make is that MH only make 1 x J-award available on these flights to QFF.
But I thought I'd ask those more knowledgeable than me in case anyone knew if more opened up closer to the time, or even if the QFF call centre would have any power to seek a 2nd seat from MH (I know the answer will be 'not a chance' but figured why not ask....)
The alternative is the partner flies in Y, but I'm not sure how well that will go down
