Another great night with great people. Always good to meet some new faces and catch up with old friends. Thanks to everyone who came along.

Absolute delight to meet Jeffrey O'Neill and the elusive Penegal - who had definite Platinum status by ducking home to get 'extras'. I thankfully had the good sense not to go down the Christmas liquid cake route. Managed to get 4 hours sleep before catching the train back to the Highlands - lots of napping along the way.

Already looking forward to MELCAN V.

Oh my. It clearly clicked on after we left. It was great catching up with you too. Have already looked at the fabulous restaurant in Paris for the 40th. Still has a ⭐️ Michelin I see.

Just to add my thanks to TC, BC and Penegal for organising the event and stepping in for CE. It was a good night, as most could tell from the bottles. Nice to meet those I know and meet some new people, although I did miss meeting some on the table next to mine. :(

Is there a date planned for another one? Our diary is filling up and I don’t want to miss out. Any excuse to drink Champagne
 
Yes I was thinking of this over the weekend, I need to go to Melbourne or Hobart in the next few months, June I am mostly booked up, Saturday nights are best but Friday nights can work as well.

This idea has merit: Melbourne has been far too quiet of late! Has everyone taken the pledge or something?
