Well i dont!Everyone knows Melbourne is better than Sydney! That's a given!
Melbourne similar to Beunos Aires :?: How's that work then?
It lost all credibility when they said they have excellent public transport, obviously the didn't try the trains or getting from the airport avoiding the $kybus.
I've used both Syd and MEL public transport and they both have good and bad points..
about the Skybus - I find it excellent personally. I use it when i am travelling on my own..
one way trip on Skybus: $16
one way trip on Syd train: $15
so I can't see how you call Skybus a rip off when Sydney charges a $1 less to travel on a public train to the airport! And considering the distance from the airports, Skybus is better value!
I travel on the MEL Skybus 20 or more times a year these days, each trip cost me $12 ¹.I've used both Syd and MEL public transport and they both have good and bad points..

Note that there is a hotel shuttle bus service that will take you to/from Southern Cross to your nominated Hotel. This is included in your ticket price. To be fair, for that price the train drops you at any station in the city, most of which would likely be walking distance from where you want to go. The Skybus will only take you to a rather inconvenient corner of Southern Cross, which requires you to walk up, down and across to get into the station proper, and then buy a myki to get a train/tram or get a car to get anywhere else in the city. ...
