Hi,

Does anyone know if Virgin will be flying from Melbourne to the Gold Coast from May 25 to June 1?

I read this article:

But it does not show the Gold Coast on the exclusion list.

Most likely a transit via SYD instead of direct flights...

In that situation the transit would not require a 14 day quarantine?

I am only going to see family, depending on the circumstances, if the self-isolate order still remains, it will be over my approved leave by a week.

Looks like I may need to postpone my leave, but the flight was also complimentary, so not sure how that would work.

Perhaps, if Virgin will allow the switch.

I will need to ask them and see, but it is that isolate part I need to contend with as my leave is approved for a week only.
Am I reading your question wrong?
I was under the impression that any visitors to Queensland are subjected to the 14 days self isolation rule so it wouldn’t matter how you get to Queensland
