Melbourne to Dubai Velocity

Hi i have been looking for Mel-dubai in J class using my velocity points there is some random availabilty for a 3 leg singapore airlines flighr but would prefer to fly Etihad but have had no luck finding even one date.
Dates are flexible.Do velocity ever offer this route in J class?

Etihad don’t fly to Dubai.
They are based in Abu Dhabi, try searching for availability to AUH (Abu Dhabi). It’s only a short trip between Abu Dhabi and Dubai by taxi, bus etc.

Yeah its a stopover from auh so no availability

It’s not a stopover. VA7138 etc is the bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

You can use DXB as the destination but AUH-DXB is on a bus.
Im seeing availability for MEL-AUH

If there availability for MEL-AUH-DXB you can book that and take the bus otherwise if you just want to fly into Abu Dhabi you can get a taxi for around $100 that takes just on an hour

Mel-auh comes up with alot more results but when you add dxb in they all disappear.
Sorry if these are dumb questions im new to this

If you add in DXB you will be on a bus with many others. I would book the MEL-AUH whilst you can and then just get a taxi or hire car to DXB.
