Thanks for the feedback. I do like the upper deck. Those storage bins on the windows are awesome! If comfort is the priority, A380, especially upper deck.
Thanks for the feedback. The pitch is reportedly 32" on both so narrower would certainly be less comfortable (not that I'm particularly wide)Yeah but the seats are narrower on the 787 - to the extent that you might as well be on a 737. Why would anyone choose that for a 14hr flight?

QF normally (or used to) quote 31" on A380, the 787 definitely has more legroom in any case, but can't deny the width. Thanks for the feedback. The pitch is reportedly 32" on both so narrower would certainly be less comfortable (not that I'm particularly wide)
And the a380 seems much quieter than the 787.QF normally (or used to) quote 31" on A380, the 787 definitely has more legroom in any case, but can't deny the width.

I don't think it's that hard to get on the A380 upper deck Y section. I've always done so as SG and now, as recent WP, the seats are certainly more plentiful. The trick is to know when the seats open up and just keep looking. And avoid the rear left seats with the partition and the toilet nearby!Upper deck is great, but few people can get there. I'm just happy to have a seat wider than my butt.
