Now the BNE-MEL-NAN J runs are no longer available, what is the best way to/from NAN?

J or Y fares.

I've tried all the usual tricks but someone will no doubt have an idea that I have not thought about.

If you leave from the Ozfest 10 city using multi city to Brett's, then second leg to NAN, there is some availability of a 200 SC run for $900 odd, return seems harder and a simple NAN SYD then Ozfest is $700 pr so.
