For spring 2026 some dates you can go from Melbourne to Tokyo via Nadi on FJ for this price, presumably you also get some thousands of QF points and a fistful of SCs (exact number not known). Heard mixed reviews of FJ J but for the money I believe it's not a bad deal.

I've flown this exact route for a similar price previously. FJ swapped out the A350 with an A330 about a month before our flights for the MEL-NAN leg, which was a bummer as their A350 business product is excellent I hear.

The seats are relatively dated on the A330, angled lie flat in 2-2-2. Comfortable enough for the 9 hour day time hop to Tokyo, though for me it would be tough to get a few hours sleep in it overnight. Service amazing, food decent. The lounge in NAN was surprisingly good.

$1550 can't go wrong I reckon.

Edit: There are also dates across 2025 for SYD-NAN-NRT and ADL-NAN-DRT. The ADL-NAN legs are on a 737 though.
