Am I the only one from the event who is wide awake with zero headache and ready for the new day?!?!
CE, thanks for organising this great event. Had a blast and it's always great to catch up with AFF friends.
Nope. I don't do hangovers. Even got a load of washing done already.

Surprisingly I've bounced rather well (which is totally unusual).

I had a fantastic night. Thanks to all that came along and Cruiser for organizing.

Mix in good company, good food and atmosphere, and some excellent bottles of champagne, and I know we all enjoyed ourselves.
Many thanks to Cruiser for organising such a good event; and to all who attended.

The food down our end of the table: note Aeolus at left about to self-administer a massive chilli hit:

Back to my full waiting room!

Another great evening. Thanks Cruiser for organising and to all and sundry for coming along and bringing some nice wines.

Toppys was once again a good venue, and the food was yum.

Mr Dow Jones did join the stragglers at 01:00 for a quiet beverage and this morning GroBar lived up to its reputation for an excellent recovery brunch.

Absolutely no need to thank me good people - thank each other for making the effort to come along and make the evening such a success.

Who left the blue cooler bag behind? Any chance you can leave a more expensive / valuable one behind next time? I don't think I'll even keep this one so happy to return it to the owner if they put their hands up.

Must be good for you well heeled set to be out for social breakfasts etc - I've been at work since 07:30 trying to keep this country afloat and you dudes are out making merry!

:D Dunno if it was the chilli that fell out of the jar due to my impatience or the simply fab champagne but I managed to walk out there unusually alive and not drunk.

Thanks to Cruiser Elite for a wonderful evening and lawlass and penegal for help with accommodation over the weekend. I had a fab time, but it wasn't until 11pm last night that I felt recovered enough from the frivolity that lasted till 3am for me!

As promised, here are some photos from the night. Feel free to point yourself out :p

Aeolus doing the honours with my camera - shy lady, is our Aeolus :D. I was fortunate to be one of the thorns on this table abundant in roses!

Hi now that I am back in Brisbane and sobered up thought I best add my thanks to Cruiser for organizing the event.

The range of champagne was good; maybe there was too much.:cool::rolleyes:

Dinner was awesome; maybe I had too much of that as well, I would go back there just for the dinner and the dessert.

You know it was a good evening when we didn't start leaving until after 11pm.

For me there is a few I have met before but then there was a few new members which was good to meet them for the first time as well.

I might see a few of you after the grand final in a few weeks but can Fremantle put in a 4 quarter effort not the effort they showed against North on Sunday. :(

Look! Hilton SYD trying to imitate our soiree. Unfortunately I won't grant them with my audience unless they forgot to put the decimal in after $75. Out of interest, how many bottles of Dom 1998 does one need to consume to make it worthwhile?
