Currently at home waiting for Panadols to cut in after (foolishly) trying to lift a 52kg Rottweiler at work today. I'll be on the 109/96 as soon as I'm up to a fast hobble :D! Mrs C looks doubtful as she's still at work, sigh. A b*gger of a day.

I think you are in need of a self-carbonating muscle relaxant.

I second that
And I am taking some preventative medicine in the QF HKG lounge. I was initially offered some sparkling-something-or-other, but as I explained I was remotely attending a Champagne evening, they obliged with some VC.

Edit: I hope the evening is over by the time I board, because I really don't want any more Canard-Duchene. :-|

It can be very effective... now we just need a doctor to prescribe it - and get it listed on the PBS - maybe I will hit drron up over lunch tomorrow

An emergency!!!

It was a good night, thanks Cruiser for organising the event. As usual nice to meet new AFFers and familiar faces, not that I will remember much tomorrow :p

Another wonderful night in excellent company. Met more AFFers and put faces to names and still missed the other table!
Thanks for the conviviality and friendship.
Thanks Cruiser Elite for organising the evening.
Another version of the line-up.

Seems there was not much desire for a 5am wake up call :D ...

Looks like it was a good evening ...

Am I the only one from the event who is wide awake with zero headache and ready for the new day?!?!
CE, thanks for organising this great event. Had a blast and it's always great to catch up with AFF friends.

No, I'm up, have walked the dog, organised a cuppa for Mrs C. I never have had a headache after champagne. Mrs C says I must've had a good time AND obviously talked too much as I'm a little croaky :D. Agreed, it was a brilliant evening.
