The restaurant was picked as I have been there previously for Dim Sum (lunch) with former Cathay friends.

It was good but I agree an alternate would be worth a look. ;)
 
I thought the banquet style dinner really aided conversation between us all, so my vote is for another one like that. Perhaps at Yú? The food is sensational here and if LW is staying at The Intercontinental Burswood again, transport won't be a problem!

I've eaten at Yu with Dave Noble before and it was very overpriced for what it was.
