Medibank Private cover parking?

HI all, Does medibank private gold, cover private hospital parking for partner of patient? Partner also on joint cover policy.

Could not find on Google and call center closed.
Currently carparkng like airport parking cost pre covid!

I doubt it. I think Private health insurance can only cover items which attract a Medicare item number, which car parking probably doesn’t attract.

Don't think any insurance covers parking.
Talk to the info desk in the hospital as many will have weekly/monthly passes (typically used by staff) that can be much better value.

I would check with the hospital. I think that Frances Perry in Melbourne were able to add such expenses to the overall hospital bill that was covered by our hospital cover (MBP) at the time.

On calling Medibank they don't but"overall hospital bill" will check.....
