"Maybe Eli's Last Game" - 2018 Season Playoffs

I am lucky I will be able to watch all playoffs including Superbowl live this year, but in the past have found all sorts of ways to have results spoiled. Staying off FB, Twitter, news websites, etc is not hard, but I have been spoiled by the car radio being left on (by me - oops) and hearing news the instant I started the car, and by seeing someone waving a scarf on the Monash Freeway on the way home.

Happy to say the last two years have been spoiler free, hopefully another great game this year.

I've watched a lot of games this season. Quality has been excellent and games generally very entertaining.

I like the Chargers - Patriots matchup. Kind of like the Eagles, the Chargers just don't know when to give up.

The Chargers have been very good. I mentioned that to my NYC host after Christmas and received a response along the lines of "a weak division". I then mention KC was in the same division.

It's some type of thing that East coast followers like to disparage teams from the West.

At one stage this season, the Rivers was 1-2 with losses to Mahomes and Goff, so they finished 11-2.

Missed a bit of last week due to travel and even worse time zones. All these matchups look good.

I watched the entire Rams-Chiefs game (that was meant to be in Mexico City). Was outstanding. I wouldn't mind that rematch.

14 or so hours of football and finally a close game. Bad luck Drron, would have been fun to see the Eagles run continue. I like KC and the Rams for next week.

I didn't think the Saints suddenly started playing that well, but the Eagles just ground to a halt - at least from what I could catch in between other stuff.

Didn't think they would have won last week so it was a bonus having another game. The last few weeks just caught up with them.

I also think the long break for the Saints -- they rested a lot of players in the last round, then last week off -- added to their slow start but the Eagles defence played super all game. It was an exciting game, right down to the wire. Sorry yr team didn't get up drone.

To be honest, that's a sorry, not sorry because I'm a bit of a Saints supporter. Because of Drew but also the Ohio State alumni, several of whom we saw play in Columbus in 2015. Michael Thomas, Von Bell and Eli Apple played that day, as well as Eagles punter Cameron Johnston, and others such as Joey Bosa and Zeke Elliott, Curtis Samuel and Denzel Ward.

After this weekend, I'm tipping a Patriots vs Rams SuperBowl...or perhaps I'm only tipping that because I want to see Chiefs vs Saints.

I hope you are right JohnK.
It might not be obvious o_O but I support the eagles.:D
Now the usual result of my barracking for a team is that they lose so I was taken by surprise last year.I also didn't expect to see them in the second week of the play offs. But while there is life there is hope.
Went to script this week. Would have loved for the Cowboys to go further but not to be again this year.

As a Saints fan i'm super pumped that thier momentem has continued into the playoffs.

I do think the 2 week break made a big difference.

What makes me nervous is the loss of Sheldon Rankins and the impact that will have on the defence. CJ Anderson has been great recently, and with Todd Gurley the Rams might be difficult to stop.

Just finished watching all games.

The last game momentum changed after a stupid (& warranted) taunting penalty - own goal by the Eagles.

Happy to see the Cowboys out - overrated, won a weak division and poor outside of Jerryworld.

@cjd600 I don't have a Pats cap - if fact if I had one I'd burn it.

I am disgusted with what the refs let the Pats get away with at Foxborough.

I hope they come crashing down at Arrowhead.
