I could be searching incorrectly, but I cannot find anymore on the Marriott website the page where it says Bonvoy Gold+ members get 15%+ discount on food and beverages when dining at Marriott locations.

The main result I found was this article stating they'd removed this benefit in "Asia" quietly in July 2022. Has anyone heard about this occurring in Australia?

I believe this website is part of Marriott. It doesn't mention loyalty tiers and discounts, but just a discount in general but I don't believe this is the same F&B I'm referring to?

The second link is to the paid Club Marriott program and is not associated to Bonvoy.

Are you staying at a property? What I have found is many properties offer their own in house discount based on your Bonvoy tier (similar to the old program the link you have in your post) if you are staying. I am not convinced the program is 100% shut down .. that the Loyalty Lobby site refers to.

I'm not staying at a place, but I often try and go for dinner or drinks at hotel bars/restaurant with friends to get my 15% Gold discount.

I might give these places a call to see what they're doing. But there definitely used to be copy on the website which articulated the 15% and 20% discounts on F&B that were available.

Looks like the overall program has been *bonvoyed* That doesn't stop individual hotels still offering the benefit, just don't expect it chainwide in the region.

Got to remember, Marriott's customers are the hotel/franchise owners NOT bonvoy members. Bonvoy members are the product that Marriott sells to its customers. Members are customers of those individual owners.

I might give these places a call to see what they're doing.

Did you happen to use the Bonvoy Gold benefit of late at any of the restaurants and get any sort of discount for dine-in experience.

I went to the Ritz Carlton in Perth a few months ago. I asked if they had the F&B discount. They said no. They said if I was staying at the hotel I could charge the costs to my room where I'd earn points.

I wasn't staying there so can't confirm if that would have occurred sorry.
