It is not Islam as such but the extremists who use religion as an excuse to wreck terror. I recall certain Christian groups being pretty much as extreme over the last few centuries. The 'bad' guys vary according to which chunk of history you are looking at.

An 8 year old girl was murdered the other night along with other innocent human beings. Trying to justify these murders is wrong in more ways than I can imagine. And anyone that does try to justify these murders has a warped mind.

Cant help but think it is more complicated than that ... noting that the continent seems to have issues with more recent arrivals, whereas in the UK the issue has its foundations >20 years ago, with the generation born in U.K. with immigrant parents.

That has got to be a huge concern around the world regardless of background?
