Interesting. KrasAir has previously mentioned as possible future *A member and now owning a portion of Malev which is committed to joining OW.

I will not hold my breath waiting for Malev to join OneWorld.

I do not think that Malev has that much to offer. Will be interesting to see which booking classes earn FF points on the QFF program.

They have 767's on the BKK-BUD route and no way of booking return ticket online. Need to book through a travel agent in BKK. I have looked at some intra-Europe Malev flights and these appear to be a little too expensive for SC and FF point earning.

Malev provides another european hub - marginally easing the pressure on LHR. Also a more convenient gateway to eastern europe and central asia.

Oh, you mean there are more reasons to use an airline than for mileage and status runs  .

I agree that Malev may be a handy addittion for xONExs and xGLOBs.

Looking at their point to point pricing it would be cheaper to fly out of LHR.
