Malaysian - linking booking to Qantas system

The key GDS have their own "CheckMyTrip", such as "VirtuallyThere" for Sabre and "ViewMyTrip" (sic) for Galileo. Any idea whether Mercator have something like this? I've just booked my flight via Expedia, but have an inbuilt mistrust of travel agents. I just made my booking and the QF FF numbers were listed as Enrich numbers (with NH as the prefix). Rang Expedia immediately, and they said there was no problem - it's just the way their system returns the data. Grumble. I'll be doing online checkin as soon as 48 hours ticks over. Don't want to rock up in SIN after doing a JQ run and find it is all cactus.

I've found the MH phone contact for Australia isn't too bad, you could try them to ensure the correct FF Details have been entered.

Contacted MH. All QF details there, including OW status. I got a copy of the itinerary, and found that our booking had fruit platters only for us all! Got this changed, even though fruit platter is a good option. Nothing really could be more upsetting for the kids! Us adults could probably do with less anyway.

Just some more info on the MH Manage booking issue.

I have an upcoming return flight purely on MH SYD>KUL and back, so no QF connections etc. The MH Website doesn't want to use the 5 digit booking ref for whatever reason, but I can use my browser to go to the mobile site:

Please wait... (the hyperlink will say "please wait - the URL is 'http://flymas.mobi')

and enter the details there, and it does show my QFF details

No, not yet and likely to change dates anyhow..

I can't see the above information in the "normal" website manage booking, but is possible on the mobile site.

Thinking of calling MH to select Y seats for my son/his girlfriend

They (of the Y gen) could not be 'bothered' unlike his OWE dad !

MH wont allow seat selection until the check in period from my experience, unless you book with them online in which case its done at time of booking (and cannot then be changed online).

Just call the ticketing body. I called Expedia last week and had no hassles changing seats on MH

Expedia even sent me an Amadeus reference to look at (Amadeus is used by Expedia). This won't feed into QF like AmadeusOW partners like Finnair but it certainly provides comfort.
