Good morning all,

I just completed a business class trip Manila-KL-Syd return with Malaysia Airlines, lovely flight although not as good as the real thing.

When I claimed the missing points and status credits I received the reply that the points and credits were claimed on another frequent flyer program, although I triple checked when making the booking that my QF number was on the booking, as it was on the boarding pass.

Am I missing something here, was the trip supposed to earn points and credit?

In brief, what do I do next please?

Cheers,

What is "the real thing" then?

What was the fare booking class? Did you purchase business class outright or bid-upgrade from economy?

Had the same thing with an RJ flight recently. You'll need to send in boarding pass and itinerary.

The automatic retro-credit process does that sometimes. If it was a valid booking class, you will need to go through the manual process. Send copies of the BPs, e-ticket receipt etc to them
