Malaysia Airlines MEL check in Opening Time?

Soon I am on a 23:30 MH flight to KUL.

Does anyone have any experience of when check in for the flight may open?

The MH website aeems to only list closing time.

I will be hand luggage only, but am unsure if security at MEL T2 will accept an OLCI boeading pass.
 
Can't answer the first question as my OLCI BP was fine at 7pm. Row F checkin was a desert of generic counters.

The only thing scanned before I arrived at a lounge was my mug at a smart gate.
