Making online changes to SQ award booking question

I tried to make a date change to an award booking, but i got this message instead : " Online Changes are not permitted for redemption bookings which have been issued offline with cash payment.Please contact KrisFlyer Membership Services for further assistance. "

Has anyone experience this before ?

The agent on the phone also said that there will be a charge of USD$25 for the date change, which i don't believe is right. Anyway i hung up and will try calling again later.

There seems to be a new recording when you call that says if you call re any matter which can be resolved online then you will be charged $50 US.
I've been finding it very difficult to get my particular issue attended to by SIA. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Skyhawk. Yes i heard that recording too. Hopefully i don't have to pay any fees ! I hope your problem will be resolved eventually. I will call them again tomorrow and see what happens.

With certain issues it may be subjective as to whether or not they can be resolved on line.
Either way I expect there will be less delay calling due to the new message.
