Thanks for the update Ewing, I need to confirm with the restaurant tomorrow on numbers. I think we had 9 confirmed and 1 was considering but that would require an expensive day trip.

Well it's not quay, but the review I read sounds promising, great location, I think I shall miss not being able to make it.

Apologies all, unfortunately I will be a late scratching. My schedule has been turned on its head this week due to an illness in the family.

It is good that something has been arranged even though the initial event fell through. I hope it is a good day :)

Hopefully the winds will ease up, otherwise it'll be an interesting ferry trip :)

Thanks for the ticket info Ewing. The Bureau of Meteorology forecast for Sunday of "Winds south to southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h" sounds a bit better than their forecast for the rest of today (Friday) of "Winds south to southwesterly 40 to 60 km/h, gusting above 90 km/h along the coast. Dangerous surf conditions, hazardous for coastal activities such as swimming, surfing and rock fishing." I'm looking forward to a fun day.

Hopefully the winds will ease up, otherwise it'll be an interesting ferry trip :)

Looking forward to tomorrow, I'll be at circular quay for the 11:30 ferry.

I spoke to the restaurant today and confirmed for 12pm, for 10 people.

I arrive into Sydney at 9:30am, I am not participating in the City2Surf this year, I have been sick for the past 2 weeks so it is best not to try and kill myself and instead just enjoy lunch with a few AFFers.

I am departing at 4:00pm back to Brisbane.

The wind has finally settled down overnight. There's still a breeze but my house has stopped rattling for the first time in 2 days ;)

Hmm, I wanted to experience "turbulence" on the ferry haha. I'll be catching the ferry, see you around then, will call you when I get there :)

Hope lunch is going/has gone well.

Still going strong where I am and there was the tiny little bit of rain earlier. But then that should be expected as it is a Sunday....

Thanks to everyone who turned up, the ferry trip back may be a little more to BlueAU liking.

I will add a photo tonight, although if you are on Facebook you may have already have seen one.

Would have loved to come, but Mrs munitalP just out of hospital put the dampers on that. Next time :-)

Well I am now home after an uneventful flight back to CBR. What a magnificent day with great company, great food and awesome conversations. We went to several locations after Hugo's seeing various parts of Sydney. Thanks to Ewing for showing us these locations and then finished at the SYD J lounge.

Photos to follow and thanks to all for turning up.

Today was a splendid day, I thoroughly enjoyed the great company, great food, and great conversation. The drinks were alright too!

I look forward to next time, when Mr and Mrs munitalP will also be able to join us!

Thanks to everyone who turned up.

Thanks to Ewing for suggesting the location, the ferry trip was good and the weather wasn't too bad either.

Thought I should add a photo.

Thanks everyone! We had a great time with the AFF crew...

Unfortunately I wasn't 100% so couldn't kick on after the lunch - next time perhaps!

Thanks everyone for an enjoyable lunch. Good to add a few more faces to names. Look forward to the next event.
