Lunch at 0940

There is a second offering later in the flight. Usually just an ice cream or similar.

Also the flight is scheduled to land in DRW at 1:10pm, which is 1:40pm, Melbourne time. Quite late for lunch for many.

What is QF supposed to serve? Two meals, maybe?
I didn't know there were two services on such flights (don't think PER flights have them, except for red eyes).

1.40 pm is a late lunch? Some of you have it good at work! 😅 #justkidding

I got offered breakfast on QF848 (PER-DRW) earlier this week (in J). Departed PER 0850 (1020 in DRW) - so doesn't seem to be much consistency!

My guess would be upto 0859 breakfast is served and 0900 and onwards lunch is the offering. Aligns with the complimentary alcohol in economy served after 9 am on flights over 2.5 hours (which all QF interstate except the CNS to DRW flight are). For shorter flights I’m I’d say brunch upto midday cause I’ve had the crossiant or fruit offered on an 1145 departure and a curry on a 1215
