Next year we are doing two cruises with a space of 8 days between them. We get off ship A in Venice and get on ship B in Barcelona.
Has any one used any luggage forwarding services ?
We have used the Takubin services in Japan and it works perfectly.
On Cruise Critic www.luggageforward.com has been recommended, has any AFFer used this service ??
:)

I used luggageforward many years ago (2007) after I'd gone a bit nuts at the outlets in Barstow, California ;)

I found the service to be reasonably-ish priced and had no issues with the delivery. At the time I paid US$385 for a 30kg suitcase, which included $30 for $1500 insurance, to be shipped from New York to London. It was cheaper than the excess baggage charges would have been at the time, and I had the bonus of not having to lug it around with the other two suitcases I was already carrying. The customs process was a bit fiddly but within the EU it's probably much simpler.
