I have a flight from MIA to GIG on GOL then GIG to AEP on Aerolineas Argentina. I emailed GOL and they told me I am allowed 2 bags X 32 kilos because its from USA to Brazil. I want to make sure that allowance also applies to my Aerolineas flight, they are both under the same e-ticket number. I checked the Aerolineas website and it mentioned taking the higher limit of weight allowance but it did not specify if that also applies when connecting on another airline? Can someone please clarify the rules - would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check out "most significant carrier", "IATA 302" & "USA DOT exeption".

Due to all this, your first journies' baggage allowance of the booking should apply for the entire booking
