Looks like will be in SYD T1 at the same time JohnK but in different F lounges ;)
Does SQ have an F lounge in SYD? Can you take in a guest or do they have to be travelling with you?

According to the policy 1 guest is allowed but I'm not sure if he must be on a *A flight.
No harm in trying if want to check it out.

It would be worth checking it out.

I need to get there early, assuming I can wake up, to ensure I claim back GST from TRS for the rings. I thought there was another option available that did not involve queues but that may have just been a trial.

I also have to claim from TRS so will probably meet you along the queue :)

Thanks Lowjhg.
Penegal - I probably gave you the answer by asking what it is :) I'm only *A Gold

+1
The TRS queue is SYD is notorious. Let me know if you found a way around it.
There was supposed to be some trial where the goods didnt need to be inspected and you lodge TRS claim online? I have missed my TRS claim a few times thanks to the horrendous queues in the mornings. Don't want to miss this one.

Best you look at the departing flight scheduled for that day, then time your arrival to coincide with the least number of flights due out in the following 30-90 minutes?

Thanks Lowjhg.

Then no SQ F lounge access for you, just J, but it is a reasonable lounge still ;)

I'm flying TG F

Nice...

Ahh yes, well you will get F lounge access then ;)

Not sure about the status of guesting into SQ F... Normally they banish *G to lower lounges, but SYD may not be as strict as SIN.
