    Hi Frequent Flyers,

I recently booked 2xQFF award tickets for my son and I to Fiji from Brisbane on the QF website on what I thought were QF flight numbers however when my tickets arrived they showed FJ (Air Paicic) flight numbers.
I rang the Qantas Club number and asked them if I could access priority check in and lounge facilities only to be told that as it was a FJ flight I would not be able to do so. After explaining that I booked the flights via Qantas on a QF flight number they advised that they would check it out and get back to me.
Their response was within 2 hours which I thought was excellent and they advised that as Qantas do not fly from Brisbane to Fiji it is an Air Pacific flight however I will be able to access prioity check in and the lounge in Brisbane but not in Nadi on my return.

Can any one shed some light on the issue of priority check in and lounge access at Nandi for a Qantas Club/Gold Frequent flyer in these circumstances?

Except in the specific case of LAN flights SYD-AKL-SCL and return, all QF FF awards are booked using the flight number of the operating airline and not using any codeshare flight numbers. So it is correct that a QF FF award on the FJ-operated flight to Fiji will be booked using the FJ flight number. And as you have been told by QF, when using the FJ flight number and travelling in economy, there is no priority check-in or lounge access available.
