Lounge access while transitting

Hi team

Fairly sure I know the answer to this one but wanted to double check.

I have business class tickets with QR into Singapore and then connecting on the same ticket with Bangkok airlines.

Am I right in thinking I have no access to the QR or other OW lounge in Singapore?

Bonus question - if not I have priority pass via Amex platinum so any suggestions on the best PP lounge for a shower and some peace and quiet?

While individual airline policies vary (AA in the US), OW lounge access based on booking class or status is on on departure only. No access on arrival.

Yes I suppose my question is - given PG airlines are a QR partner and the booking is on the same ticket will QR allow lounge access?

Not usually, no.

‘Partnerships’ don’t often cross over to lounge access, at least for class of service, as opposed to status.

Sure, worth asking at the lounge, but be prepared for a ‘no’.
