Lounge access in adelaide with qantas passes

Hi,

Has anyone had any joy trying to get into the qantas club in adelaide using a qantas issued complimentary pass but flying on an EK ticketed flight? We're flying adl/dbx/cdg in september and wouldn't mind trying to use up a couple of passes. Alternatively do EK ever issue complimentary passes in which case I might be able to do a swap with someone??? It was a pity that booking the same flights on EK metal via qantas was over $800 more per ticket!

Thanks Mwenenzi, that was my first stop and didn't find the answer there. Might have to suck it and see what happens.

But of course. Not worth the $800 pp difference in price though for that QF number... That's a lot of beers at the public bar!

I wonder if qantas will start rewording their vouchers. Who knows really.

I'm hedging my bets at the moment. Will be Gold on both airlines until end 2014.
