Hi all,

Possibly asked a number of times but I could not find a recent thread.

With the negative thoughts re Qantas I am thinking my previous loyalty is now a waste of time. I fly for private purposes maybe twice a year and often go PE as I am 198 cm tall. A mix of domestic and internat to Asia. Starting to go further to Europe and US soon.

With no specific loyalty to any airline, what is currently the best ideas for lounge access and maybe an upgrade ? Should I just pay Bus class and enjoy the flights and less hassles at the airports or is there a better way ? Flying to Canada in 3 months with Canada Air but that holiday is already booked Bus Class as the thought of 14 hours in economy is torture for me.

Who does Air Canada use for lounges in Sydney?

Thankyou to all the regular members who give advice here. For flight newbies like me it is a very valuable source of info.

Hi erina, if you don't worry about airline loyalty I would be chasing the best price business class tickets if you have the cash to spare. Guaranteed lounge access and comfort on board.

If you're flying in Business on AC you have access to both the SQ and NZ lounges in SYD. Although the SQ lounge dragons will most likely try and redirect you to the NZ lounge.
