The Art Gallery exhibition is on my to-do list as we are off to Giverny in early June.

Cheers. Great stuff!

We ended up decided that Africola wasn't for us. Will definitely checkout some of your other suggestions.

Apart from starting and ending our DSC run to PVG from ADL :) (months before and after our actual trip to PVG):) our main objective of visiting ADL is the exhibition from the Musée of D'orsay - love that Musée

FWIW just purchased tickets for the Exhibition - $25, undated, and untimed.

If good food is the requisite and flash dining not a big issue. La Trattoria is number one in my book.

Best Spaghetti Marinara on the planet

Indian food - another vote here for Jasmines in Hindmarsh Square.

We used to love Tandoori Oven on Unley road (The brothers restaurant) but that’s long one.

Jasmines. One Valentines Day it was around 40 degrees and several romantic couples had a table on the street. On a nice night this would have been perfect but not this night. Indian and no aircond on hot city pavement. Us oldies were happy to scurry inside into the cool.

I can highly recommend Bai Long on Hutt St for Thai. Concubine on Gouger St is also fantastic. Peel St as others have said is highly recommended. Their banana blossom chicken dish is my favourite.

The Mrs & I really enjoyed our visit to Giverny. Very pretty indeed and Palace of Versailles is not far from there too. The Japanese Footbridge piece by Monet has come to Adelaide. Remember it when you visit Giverny as the scene is a classic Monet garden image.

Great work. Took the whole family on Easter Monday and it brought so many memories flooding back. FYI there is mandatory bag check at the exhibit door for anything bigger than A4 and photography is permitted. There are also free guided tours as part of this that started on the hour (from memory so please don't quote me). Enjoy, I'm sure that you will have a blast.

Home | Magill Estate Restaurant- Magill Estate Restaurant (Fancy and Grange by the glass. Lunch is more cafe style if you don't want to spend heaps)

https://www.zomato.com/adelaide/khana-khazana-glenunga (Our local & favourite Indian restaurant. Cheap too as I hate paying for overpriced Indian food)
Can recommend Magill Estate kitchen. Plus the added wine tasting. Not far out of the city.

I’ve wondered what Khazana was like. It’s in our territory. Right near Dan’s.

We have the Tour of Versailles also on the Giverny day.

Correct. I'm a fan and have no problems recommending them. I could have some of their naan bread right now :)

Since you are in the area, my friends have told me that the Korean place above is good too. I do have a reservation next month with friends and I'm looking forward to it.

Terrific. You will have an awesome day.

It's been a while since I've been in town but is Gaucho's (Argentinian) still open? (Grote Street?) I had a great feed there, Would be the worst vegetarian restaurant I've been in.;););)
