Long layover in Dubai - QF/Emirates Lounge

Experienced Dubai connect in August EK J to QF F. With 8hrs between flights had a very short 5hrs of bed rest (bed was great) and this was with carry on baggage only. Time was lost both ways queuing through immigration (even using F terminal for outbound flight), walking to chauffeur drive desk, waiting for transport both ways to/from hotel. Ignored the hotel food voucher for a very quick cooked breakfast in F lounge. Would not even consider again unless 10-12 hrs between flights.
