This morning we received our allocation of Olympic tickets.
How did you go?

Nick's media pass sounds better than anything we could buy.
We got no water polo and nor did our friends. We gave up single tickets.
Apparently the opening ceremony was something like one in 200 so we got dust there but we did get closing ceremony.
We did not bother with swimming as that can be better on tv if you are up back in the stand.
We have 2 athletic sessions and a hockey session so not much at all compared with what Mrscove applied for in the first go around.
So far we have 3 events plus closing over the last 5 days and we will need to work on this to make it worthwhile.
Friday 24th June is the next chance.

Our latest shot got us everything we wanted except opening ceremony and water polo tickets. I really don't know what happened to water polo as there did not seem to be any offered and I can understand the opening ceremony being a tad on the scarce side.We took up hand ball for the first time and also women's soccer final as both were offered. What it all means is that we now have tickets for each day of events so no more struggles needed. If the airlines are jammed full I think we will fly to a destination that is within a couple of hours of London in J or first and then figure the last bit in whatever is available.I keep thinking of Nicks media pass....that would suit my sons but they would be pretty rare......up there with an uncirculated 1930 penny sort of thing....How did you go??
