Apologies - is it possible for my husband and I to link our frequent flyer cards so the points from both acrew. He collects points but doesn't use them because I am the one who does the travel.

I'm assuming Qantas. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You can't directly accrue points from 2 different FF cards into the one account. However, being in a wife/husband relationship, there are a few other options due to the "eligible family member" rule:

http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/terms#jump1
'Eligible Family Member' of a Member means any person the Member can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of Qantas, as being related to that Member in any of the ways described below:

* Husband/Wife
* Parent/Step-parent
* Domestic Partner/De Facto
* Child, including foster & step-child
* Brother/Sister
* Half Brother/Sister
* Grandparent
* Grandchild
* Son/Daughter-in-law
* Brother/Sister-in-law
* Father/Mother-in-law
* Uncle/Aunt
* Nephew/Niece
* First cousin

eg:

- booking tickets using FF points tickets/awards for the other partner, using the member's account that has points. (This is allowed under the "eligible family member" rule - see Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions / Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions )

- upgrading tickets for the other partner, again using the "eligible family member" rule - see Frequent Flyer - Using Points - Flight Upgrades - About Flight Upgrades

- doing a once yearly transfer of points from one account to the other (This is allowed for transfers between 5000 and 100000 points / year). See Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions

As each account can transfer points once per year, you technically can transfer points twice per year (account A to B, Account B to A) to try and combine the points twice per year.

Again depends on the program or card you are referring to

You can't link but on Qantas you can do a family transfer of up to 100,000 points annually.

Alternatively your husband can redeem a ticket in your name from his account.
