I don't see anything in the T&C that says you have too stay at a property, just 1 checkin per day eligible. Am increasing that right/have I missed a crucial line about what is and isn't a stay?

There's a Sheraton down the road, I could easily drive down every day for 250 points.

While some bonus Starpoints offers do require a confirmed reservation to earn Starpoints for check-ins, we plan to feature many different specials throughout the year, and not all of these will require a confirmed reservation.
