Okay, it's about time I went back to the Wild West for another visit.
I'm flying over on QF589 (BNE/PER) on Friday, 27 April, however as soon as I arrive, immediately onto a Skywest charter flight to to Busselton. Later that night, fly to Albany (great, a lot of flying but no SC's or miles for the charter flights
).
Friday is spent in Albany then a PM charter flight back to Perth. At the end of this orgy of flying, I'm being wined and dined; so expect me to have a huge hangover on Sat AM. Thought it would be a good idea not to drive anywhere on Saturday, or attempt a 6am wake up for a MR to BME or KGI (unlike my previous trip). The only thing I need to do is change hotels - from the Sheraton to the Holiday Inn on Hay Street.
So, I thought I'd throw together an AFF/FT Doo in Perth for the Saturday lunchtime (1pm), a social event like at a beer garden somewhere (I'll need a hair of the dog
) ... but just where? Any ideas for a fairly close to CBD meeting place??
As the West Coast Eagles are playing Brisbane Lions at Subiaco, I want to watch the match (starts at 5.40pm local). Anybody going or want to head to it as well??
I do have plans for Sunday (I want to head to Fremantle for the day to relax).
So, oz_mark, v8Statesman and the rest of the Perth-based FF's (or visiting FF'ers like me)....who's up for it??
