Yes the day arrived today! I've been watching that SC tally growing ever so slowing over the past year (having switched a lot of my flying to DJ since becoming QF WP hasn't helped) and finally I'm at 7007 SCs!

Joined in October 1995 before SCs existed. At some stage they must have done a conversion of points to get the odd number (not ending in 5 or 0) - back when they launched SCs I suppose.

So at this rate it will be 2029 when I hit LTG...

Funny thing is I've done a fair bit of flying over the years but it shows without doing regular INT J it takes a loooong time to build up the SCs.

And LTS! Which means what, precisely? Bag tags for life!

Congratulations :)
I too will hit those lofty heights later this year, secretly hoping to double up to LTG before the cough hits the fan at QF

me slow too, 6200 after 11 years

Yes I hit it later this year after 11 years, majority in last 5 years though J RTW trips......

I make you all look like 'fast achievers'

Joined in Apr 1988
Now at 6624 and should be LTS end of year!
Mind you, being WP last 3 years courtesy of the Knowledge from AFF has seen me add about 5,000+ in that time, and I'm aiming for LTG in the next 5 years

Congratulations!

When I first joined QFF I thought it was going to take a long time but finally got to Lifetime Silver a couple of years ago and now not that far away from Lifetime Gold. If that still means anything in 10-20 years time then it is a bonus.

If it were not for this place, I would not be LTS (I joined in 2001). I got LTS earlier this year (so 11 years for me) and out of those 7000 SC's, almost 4500 of them have been in the past 3 and a bit years (meaning I went from a 7-8 year constant PS to WP within a few months, and have now kept it).

This place is dangerous. It does assure your bank manager will love you though ;) I'm currently sitting at a tad under 8,600 SC's after having ticked the 7k over in March this year. Hopefully another 500-600 to go on that later this year when i'm doing some trips through the USA after the next SMD :)

I've been a QFF member for more than 10 years. Only started flying seriously 4 years ago. Sitting on 9033 SCs after hitting LTS about a year ago. LTG could take me a while now that I'm not flying for work :(

Thanks to everyone.

I've been up and down with my flying over the years. A bit of domestic early on and then a period of J international flights which came to an abrupt end in about 2003. Since then it's been mainly domestic again but also went through a longish period without any flying when I left my employer and went into my own business.
Then I had a client who would fly me all over Australia for a while which accompanied by some JASAs saw me to WP last year. Since then though I've had to fly a fair bit but at my expense and DJ has filled the gap - mainly because of a lot of flying to TSV and the fact they comped me to SG (just before I got to WP with QF).

So it could be a long while to get to LTG but we'll see how it pans out. LTS is worth slightly more than nothing but LTG with QP membership is certainly worth something.

It took me around 12 years from joining QFF to get to LTS and then only 2 years from LTS to LTG. In the 4 years since LTG, I have just passed 30k SCs total (you can say my travel profile has changed since becoming LTS!)....

Well Done!

When I first came across AFF in Nov 2004 I had just under lifetime 4000 SC's - using the knowledge I learned here and FT I garnered the additional 3K for lifetime PS by June 2006 and 2½ years later (in November 2008) I attained life time Gold! So for me it accelerated.

I joined in Oct 2004 and had over 200 flights before tier credits were introduced from September 1998.

Great work warks!

I joined QFF in 2001 - around September ;)

Took me 10 years to get to LTS - but that did include a three year flirtation with AA when I would have racked up 10K SCs in two years if I had been crediting to QFF.

LTS to LTG is looking like being somewhat faster as I made LTS in July last year and might crash through LTG in January - currently on 11,875 LTSCs with 1050 booked between now and the end of the year and a possible DONE4 next January...
