I have had QF LTG Status for approx 18 months. Previously I had been Platinum for a number of years.

Does anyone else who is LTG see any "additional" benefit over being a normal QF Gold flyer? Just wondered as the spend with Qantas is considerable to attain the 14000 Status Credits.

Thanks

Having been WP for the entire since I attained LTG over 5 years ago I have yet to experience anything specific to life time SG.

I would suggest that the best benefit currently is that you would generally have lounge access a *O sapphire whenever flying *O - no matter how little you continue to fly them (oh ... and before a JQ flight- if a lounge )1 exists, & 2) is open)=.

+1 for what serfty said. The other benefit is that I no longer have to count SCs and think up excuses to go on status runs if I'm coming up short.

Been Platinum for 8+ years and LTG for just over 1 of those.......nothing new or exciting that I can see.

The benefit IMO - is the freedom to build status with another OW partner - if that's your thing.

I believe Lifetime Gold and attaining Gold via flying are essentially the same.

Any difference would be as a result of the PCV of the customer.

Is Lifetime Gold more valuable to Qantas over a Gold who spends ~$25,000/year? Perhaps not.

LTG means you will always have lounge access even on the cheapest JQ fare.
